What: Searsport Lobster Boat Races
Where: Searsport Harbor, Searsport, ME
Why: A uniquely Maine event, commercial (and some non-commercial) lobster boats compete in drag-style races in 12 cities up and down the Maine coast during the summer months. We’ll be taking in the racing action in the town of Searsport, ME, which at one time housed the most sea captains in all of the United States.
